A three-day-old newborn allegedly died on Friday due to suspected medical negligence at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Odisha's Sambalpur.
According to reports, the infant, born on April 1 to a family from the Sakhipada area, suddenly fell ill late Thursday night. The baby was immediately rushed to the DHH for treatment.
Family members of the deceased alleged that doctors and nursing staff failed to provide timely medical attention, which they claim led to the tragic death.
