Make Organ Donation Easy (MODE) is a public-interest initiative of the Institute of Medicine & Law dedicated to simplifying and strengthening organ and tissue donation in India through policy reform, public advocacy, awareness and education.
India faces a critical gap between the need for donor organs and their availability. While medical capability has advanced, legal uncertainty, procedural complexity, fear of litigation, and lack of awareness often delay or prevent organ donation. MODE exists to close this gap by ensuring that law becomes a bridge, not a barrier, to saving lives.
MODE is a commitment to saving lives through clarity, compliance, and compassion.
