The patient, a seventy five year old man, underwent Bilateral Total Knee Replacement (BTKR) surgery on both knees. He may have hoped to perhaps walk on his own, without support, for the remainder of his life. However, fate had other plans. The senior citizen succumbed to post-surgery complications.
A hospital, who had not provided discharge summary to a patient, was caught by the Court for lying that it had done so.
The patient visited a hospital with complain of severe pain in her abdomen. Ultrasound scan reported ectopic pregnancy. A surgery was performed and the patient was discharged after two days.
