Books

IML publishes books on medical laws for practicing doctors. The publications are carefully edited to provide only the most practical and relevant information to doctors.

IML is presently engaged in publishing a series of thematic books on specific MedLegal issues. These are comprehensive reference books on the subject whereby law is discussed from the doctor’s perspective to make them understand the important characteristics and its relevance and applicability to medical practice.

Every book has an explanatory note on the subject written by the noted expert in medical laws, Balaji Srinivasan, Advocate-on-record, Supreme Court. Abstracts of relevant judgments from various Indian courts are compiled from the ‘Medical Law Cases – For Doctors’. Relevant provisions from the 'Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics), Regulations, 2002' are also reproduced at appropriate places to make these compilations complete.
