  • For locations not serviced by major courier company's delivery may take upto 2 weeks.

Delays in shipping can be due to titles that may not be available at the time of ordering. In case of pre-orders or not yet published titles, books will be dispatched as soon as available. Please check website for the due date.

All prices quoted may be subject to change without prior notice.

Institute of Medicine & Law will not be in breach of obligations under these terms and conditions to the extent that any failure or delay in performing its obligations occurs because of an event or circumstance which is outside reasonable control including without limitation, any act of God, war and other hostilities, fire, flood, strikes, lockouts, delays in transport, breakdowns in equipment, or restrictions or prohibitions or any other acts by any government or semi-government authority.

Institute of Medicine & Law reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a publication or service that is listed at an incorrect price or for any other reason. This shall be regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and / or payment been received. 100% payment shall be refunded within 7-10 working days.

  5. Journal subscription (print)Request for cancellation will be entertained only before the first issue is dispatched. Full refund will be granted.
  6. Journal subscription (print + online / online)No request for cancellation will be entertained.
  7. BooksRequest for cancellation will be entertained only if the publishers / printers have not initiated the process of shipping. Full refund will be granted. No request for cancellation will be entertained for orders placed under the 'same day delivery' category.

  1. Request for return of books will be entertained only if made within 30 days of the date of delivery.
  2. The books returned must be in a saleable condition. Institute of Medicine & Law reserve the right to refuse refunds of books which do not arrive in a saleable condition.
  3. The purchaser will be responsible for and will pay the cost of sending the books back by the same method as it was delivered.
  4. The purchaser must send the books only after receiving a clear written confirmation from the Institute of Medicine & Law in this regard.
  5. Full refund will be granted.

Institute of Medicine & Law reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a publication or service that is listed at an incorrect price or for any other reason. This shall be regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and / or payment been received. 100% payment shall be refunded within 7-10 working days.

Institute of Medicine & Law takes stringent measures to ensure that books or journals delivered are in perfect condition. However, there is a remote possibility that books or journals may be damaged during transit or the wrong book may be delivered. Only in such cases Institute of Medicine & Law will replace the book(s) or journal(s) at no extra cost, provided that the request for replacement is made within 15 working days of the receipt of the books or journals. No replacements will be allowed except for the aforesaid reasons. The purchaser must send the books or journals for replacement only after receiving a written confirmation from the Institute of Medicine & Law in this regard.
